Well despite all the negative news scattered abroad, Maricopa County in
Arizona is still designing and planning for a very heavy growth in the
near future. WOW! Is all I can say about Douglas Ranch which will spear
head all the growth west of the White Tank Mountains, which is just west
of Phoenix, running into Buckeye, and lying on the north side of Hwy 10.
Bordering the north side of this Mega growth area is Whispering Ranch, a

area of about 30 square miles.
This area is an investors dream, but they must hold for a 5 to 10 year
terms to reap the maximum harvest. Due to the difficult time of our
economy, there is not a better time to purchase the 5 acre or larger
parcels, which have been placed on the market due to different hardships
of the sellers.
Should Douglas Ranch begin construction in 2009 as projected, you already
know what will follow in the surrounding area. As roadways begin to
develop, it will certainly pave the way for infra structure and building
growth to overflow into Whispering Ranch. The current prices of course in
the next few years could double and triple. Four miles east prices, even
in this market are $100,000 per acre. So for prices in Whispering Ranch to
reach that level, certainly looks very achievable in the not to distant
future.
